In your first year at the College of Engineering, the Freshman Engineering Program will help you in many ways:
- Explore different engineering disciplines-- As part of the program, you will take Introduction to Engineering, a class that allows you to experience each engineering discipline. You can wait until spring break to commit to a specific department.
- Succeed in your classes-- The Freshman Engineering Student Services Program can help you with your course work, providing orientation, peer mentoring, tutoring and supplemental instruction, academic advising, basic career advising, and academic skills development. In additions, the Freshman Engineering Center has computer labs as well as areas for tutoring, study groups and mentoring.
- Connect with your classmates-- The Freshman Engineering Center is a great place to hang out and catch up with other students. In addition, FEP sponsors lots of fun extracurricular activities, so you can unwind and get to know your classmates.
